The felt experience of anxiety is rooted in the physical body.
The paradox of anxiety is that, facing instead of fearing
whatever is gripping us, allows us to break free.

Practicing mindful awareness of how the anxiety manifests is the first step in treating anxiety. To manage the symptoms, I teach breathing, relaxation and self-hypnosis techniques to those who are interested.

We’ll explore the triggers that contribute to your anxiety, and we’ll work to confront and disable the beliefs promoting the anxiety. This generally works best when we both can maintain a sense of humor and faith in working with the symptoms.
